Accreditation Canada’s clients represent the continuum of care. They include Regional Health Authorities; hospitals; community-based programs and services; laboratories and blood banks; long term care, home care, and mental health facilities. The accreditation program covers a diversity of health care and services with more than 30 standard sections that address virtually all aspects of health care and service.
In addition to developing service-specific standards, Accreditation Canada customizes the accreditation program to meet needs of specific populations.
