Education is an integral component of the accreditation process. Accreditation Canada’s Learning and Development team is made up of experienced professionals who create a range of educational resources for clients and surveyors.
Education sessions are offered in a variety of formats to meet clients’ needs. They include conferences, regional workshops, on-site sessions, webinars, and webcasts.
The Learning and Development team also creates guides, manuals, and training sessions on the accreditation process that are available as booklets, DVDs, and CD-Roms.
Surveyors receive ongoing education and training on new standards and program enhancements. In addition to regional sessions held across the country, a national surveyors’ conference, which all surveyors are invited to attend, takes place every three years in Ottawa.
