Accreditation Canada’s research and evidence-based programs are developed in close consultation with key stakeholders. Following comprehensive international literature reviews, field experts and front line workers provide input through focus group discussions and national web-based consultations. Advisory Committees guide the standards’ development. New standards are pilot tested at health care organizations across the country representing a variety of sizes and types of facilities.
