What to expect
This one-day session will guide participants through the process of managing patient safety. It will also be an opportunity to hear about changes or updates made to the 2010 Required Organizational Practices (ROPs).
Accreditation Specialists, surveyors, and organizations will be joining us in sharing their experiences and expertise on ROPs.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Explain the relationship between patient safety and accreditation
- Identify the changes and updates in the 2010 ROPs
- Identify their organization’s safety culture
- Identify the most challenging ROPs to implement in organizations
- Discuss/strategize on ways to implement ROPs
- Share experiences with other Accreditation Specialists, surveyors, and organizations
Who should attend
This session is geared to Accreditation Coordinators, team leaders, managers and others who are closely involved in patient safety and the accreditation process in their organizations.
Participants who are new to Accreditation Canada should view the webcast on patient safety on the client organization portal to obtain the introductory overview of patient safety and Accreditation Canada.
